Refuelling

The following aviation fuels are available at the airport:

• Jet A1
• AVGAS 100 LL
• Super plus lead-free, 98 ROZ

In addition, we have the following lubricants: D80, D100, 15W-50. Card payment accepted

Aircraft parking facilities
Open aircraft parking spaces are always available in sufficient numbers, and need not be booked in advance; however, there may be limitations to availability at special events such as Husum WindEnergy Trade Fair, but we will be announcing this in time on our website under News.

Hangar facilities
Hangar facilities are available in limited quantity for medium or long-term aircraft parking. We would ask you to call us in order to arrange for hangar parking and fees.

Sightseeing flights
Husum Airport provides a unique opportunity to take a sightseeing flight around the west cost of Schleswig-Holstein and its islands. The Sportfluggruppe Husum e.V. sports aviation club at the airport provides flights to individual routes by prior booking and arrangement.

Charter and private business flights
Husum Airport provides charter and private business flights to two thousand European regional airports and aerodromes. If you need any further information or want to plan a flight, please do not hesitate to contact our airport by phone or e-mail.

Gliders
We have all the facilities necessary for your glider business. The Sportfluggruppe Husum e.V. sports aviation club’s glider department is responsible for glider flight management.

Car hire and airport transfer
If required, we can arrange to have a hire car ready for you after you arrive at Husum Airport. We can also arrange for a transfer to take you to your final destination. Please contact us before you arrive in Husum if you require these services.

Husum has a broad choice of hotels and guesthouses available. Please contact Husum’s hotel and guesthouse agency to arrange for suitable accommodation:

Training and seminars
Husum Airport has training and seminar facilities available. Certain exercises – such as precision landing – are possible on prior arrangement. The Sportfluggruppe Husum sports aviation club provides private pilot training (private pilot licence, PPL) for ultralight (UL) and powered flight; the club is an authorised flight training centre. Apart from that, the club provides training – such as night-flight qualification – for existing PPL holders. Please contact the Sportfluggruppe Husum sports aviation club for further details on basic and further flight training.
